Stephen brings with him over 35 years of Project and Cost Management experience. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, he has hands-on practise of fitting out and refurbishing a variety of projects from boutique to multi-million, covering the following areas:-

• Offices; 1,000 sq. ft to over 160,000 sq. ft

• Exhibitions, marketing suites, transport lounges and museums

• Rebranding and roll-out programmes – retail chains, office interiors, external and internal signage; UK and global; prototyping, pilot sites and roll-out

• Retail outlets, restaurants and bars

• Wide experience with assisting clients to develop project briefs and producing implementation strategies

• Excellent communication skills with clients, other consultants and contractors through mutual respect, working together, sense of humour and not afraid of telling the truth

• Extensive knowledge of procurement, producing tender documents and advising on contracts of engagement, terms and conditions

• Awareness of what could go wrong on a project and so excelling at avoidance instead of remedies after the event

• Preparation of cost estimates and advice on savings

• Outstanding record of cost control on projects and value for money

• Motivated by satisfied clients

 

Stephen has undertaken various roles from budget advice, producing procurement strategies, undertaking feasibility studies, preparing bid (tender) documents, and negotiating contracts for appointments for Consultants and Contractors; to full Project and Cost Management from inception to completion of projects.
