- Documentation preparation for choosing and placing orders on any specialist long lead-in times.
- Preparation of tender (bid) documentation for the Main Contractor on site.
- Analysis of main contractor tenders returned and preparation of a report recommending contractor for appointment, budget and programme for client approval.
- Preparation of contract documentation for completion between successful main contractor and client.
- Preparation of cash flow forecast for payments to contractors and long lead-in items.
- Agreeing with clients cost report format required.
- Negotiating contractor’s and specialists’ payment terms and valuing any completed works as necessary before delivery to site.
- Regular cost checks throughout above process to clients.
When the Works are On Site:
- Valuation and certification of contractors’ works
- Processing payments.
- Preparation of regular cost reports on anticipated final account for project.
- Measurement and valuation of any variations.
- Preparation and recommendation on the contractors final account.
